Déjà Dead is the first novel by Kathy Reichs starring Temperance Brennan. It won the 1997 Arthur Ellis Award for Best First Novel

The novel is set in Montreal, Quebec where a series of women are found brutally murdered.They are brutally hit on the head and their dead bodies are packed in plastic bags and buried.
